This one is hard.  Bear with me.

The absolute worst thing you can do for a labor of love is labor on when the love is over.  I still love Lloegyr, but I don't love running it right now, and in order to deliver a premium product, I need that sort of motivation.  Running a game like this wears you down, and I have to admit I've bitten off more than I can continue to chew.

I need a break.  I said I would take a month, and it's been a month.  And I also told myself at the end of the month, I would figure out what I would do.  And as a month came, I realized... my life is really full, and really full of good things.  And Lloegyr is a lot of effort, and I just can't do it anymore.

The story isn't over, and one day, somehow, I will finish it, and in a larp form.  Act III will happen.  But not this summer, not this year.  One day, I'll come back to it, and I hope to invite as many of you as are willing to finish it.  But for now, I'm putting this book down.  I'll come back to it later.

I want to thank you all for your support and your energy, as well as your patience these last couple months.  I know a great deal of people heavily invested in this tale, and I'm sorry I will not be able to finish it on the timeline I originally intended.
I want to specifically thank Phil for all the time he's spent helping me ST, and Matt for his ST support as well as the free therapy, Jason (who made it to every single game), and Mark and Jill and all those who have NPCed or ST'd for me.

And thank you all, for helping me get out two acts of the story of my life.  One day, I'll do the third.

Ryan

We love you. When you're ready to come back, we'll be here ready to jump back into character. And go to hell. Or wherever it is we need to go. Meanwhile, enjoy your life! That's what it's for :-)

Thank you for introducing me to my first LARP, it wont be my last.  When you're ready to pick it up I'll be there.   Until then,  thanks for all the new friends! Hope to see you all again soon, either as other characters or actually yourselves.

It's been an amazing run and I applaud your choice for sanity and happiness, Ryan.  Many thanks for all of the blood and sweat you've put into our tears (... that doesn't sound quite right), and many thanks to all the other STs for supporting Ryan on this crazy venture.

You know that when you're ready for Act III, I won't be able to resist the temptation to fly back here for game.  Lloegyr is my siren call.
