[Announcement] Deadline Extension for Challenge Submissions

[LLMs4OL Challenge]

Dear Participants,

We hope this message finds you well. We have received multiple requests for an extension to the submission deadline for the challenge. After careful consideration, we are pleased to announce that the submission deadline has been extended to 25 July 2024 (For all 3 tasks).

Please note that the paper submission deadline remains unchanged and will still be 28 July 2024.

We hope this extension provides you with the additional time needed to finalize your submissions.

Dear Carick,

Thanks for pointing this out.

Unfortunately, we can not add to the number of submissions. For fair comparison and challenge, the number of submissions per subtask and per day will remain the same, which is 10 submissions per day/subtask and a total of 30 submissions per subtask.

Today is 07/26 and the deadline for SUBMISSION is the 25th, why can I still upload files today? 
Is it the same as the deadline for submitting papers?

They said anywhere on the earth (UTC-12), i'm in Cameroon and i still have results to submit, here it's 11:43am then the challenge is normally not yet finish. Normally AOE is 1:00 pm here. 

Please reopen the Codalab platform.

Dear All,

Sorry for all the inconvenience, 

We are using codalab timing which is UTC for accepting submissions, and to make sure we put some flexibility to the submission's exact ending time, we set the end of submissions to July 26, 8 AM UTC. And CodaLab automatically will stop the competition when it reaches this time. 

UTC time is available here https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/timezone/utc and all the deadlines were UTC, not UTC-12 and it was specifically mentioned in the CodaLab overview page.

We have models that are still predicting on computers, it's not normal I wanted to submit 15minutes before the deadline.
How the Codalab platform is locked now, no this is not normal ?.
