Greetings from the Centre for Arbitration and Research!

The traditional legal practice is at the cusp of revolutionizing. The existing study of law as well as the approaches of understanding law and the legal system will become redundant very soon. Yes, you heard it right!

India very soon will have a standalone law on mediation. This means conventional adversarial courtroom practice will be replaced in most of the cases by the collaborative and interest-based approaches of mediation.

But do you know what mediation is? What are the new opportunities this law will bring for the young law students and the legal practitioners? 

While some of you may know about mediation through mediation competition and ADR society, the new mediation law is fundamentally going to alter how we perceive mediation as a  concept as well as practice.

Therefore, to be future ready, Centre for Arbitration and Research has organized a panel discussion on the 'new mediation law'. This panel discussion will discuss how  new avenues of practice of law through mediation will open up. The panel discussion will explain to you about the new law and how mediation will be a game changer in the times to come.
