I know the head librarian at the Philosophical society and can get in
touch with her about the possibility of displaying the Langstroth
collection, if you want.

Regarding Norris' message, if living hives are put on private property
(Morris Arb, Wyck, Franklin Institute, Bartram's, etc.) then any
"incidents" would be covered by the institution's insurance policy.
Not sure how this works with city property, but it could be more
complicated- or not.

So is the Science Friday guy really coming to Philly for this? That's
great!
