What is something you would love to learn? Something you have a
passion for and would spend hours talking about without any thought of
making money?

Could it be a passion for learning about kids, new fashions, sports
cars, making homemade wine, traveling to a far away place, creating a
stress-free environment, all about your family pet?

Something you are interested in and either know a lot about or
something you would love to learn. Then define it a bit, such as i
would love to learn about balancing a home business with children. Go
to google or your favorite search engine and simply search that adding
the word forum. (ie, Find forum how to balance a home business and
children.) I just googled this sentence and came up with 314,000+
sites.

Go to the top 3 sites and register. Once you signup at these sites,
go to your Profile and add your information especially your
signature. Your signature should be any site you are currently
promoting. Every forum will have a how-to right there for you. Make
sure to save your profile and bookmark that page. I keep a folder
marked my fav forums to add my bookmarks to in Delic.ious.

Then go into the forum and read the thread you are interested in.
Remember, you are not there to advertise, you are there to share your
knowledge and learn something you have an interest in. Simply post.
Interact, make comments that are sincere and enjoy yourself. Every
time you post, you signature will be there for someone to touch base
with you.

You have just learned the basic to social networking.

If this sounds cheesey to some, I am simply posting this bc I have
received emails on signatures and profiles. Plus this posting reminds
me not to get in a hurry and forget to do this myself.

There are also alot of forums you do not have to register for that you
can simply add a comment to; when adding a comment, simply add your
domain name under your name. Remember to take the time to be grateful
whenever you are searching on the web for anything and someone has
clearly given you an answer. For instance, my son last night came
home from wrestling practice with a hole (yep, a hole) in the side of
his tongue. Trying not to panick as Dr Mom, I googled hole in tongue
to see what remedies I could use to help him. When I found the
answer, i was grateful and said a simple thanks. (after I had taken
care of my son of course)

My point is, be true and honest and respond as you want to be
responded to. Everything on the web was put there by a person and
that person's time. It's easy to take posted knowledge for granted.
A simple thanks goes a long way.

Give it shot and let me know how its working for you.

regards,
Patty
