Dear Lambas,
Hope you are doing good.
The Berytech Fab Lab is promoting the Nike Grind Challenge in Lebanon and we believe that it is a very interesting competition for you and your community. Kindly find below all the details about the challenge. We would appreciate if you can share it and spread the word.
Thank you in advance

Hello,
Berytech Fab Lab is happy to share with you the opportunity to participate in the exciting Nike Design with Grind Challenge. One grand prize winner will receive $30,000, and up to four more top innovators will receive $5,000 grants for further development of their concept. All promising proposals will be considered for further partnership with Nike.
Here’s the challenge:
How might we create a waste-free, circular future by designing everyday products using Nike Grind materials?
In short, the goal of the Nike Challenge is to identify promising new solutions for Nike Grind materials: creating products that improve the lives of the people who use them, while reducing waste in the world around us.
Nike Grind is a palette of premium recycled materials recovered from used footwear and manufacturing scrap. These include rubber, EVA foam and full grain leather to name a few.
At this point, the competition is at phase 1: Ideation Phase, which is focusing on coming up with real solutions and submitting them before May 1, 2018.
All the details that you need on the challenge brief and application are here. To best align your submission with the goals of this Challenge, we encourage you to read the Full Challenge Brief, Materials Overview, Challenge Rules , and insights from a webinar done with Nike experts.
We also encourage you to share your idea on the community platform as early as possible to allow ample time for community feedback and iteration before the deadline.
The Berytech FabLab Team is available to support you in anything you need and throughout the different phases of the challenge, so feel free to reply to this e-mail
Good Luck!
