Dear Robotics Enthusiasts,
We would like to announce our final workshop for this semester, on Computer Vision using Raspberry Pi.
Computer Vision is one of the most important fields in Robotics, and this workshop will serve as an introduction, getting you familiar with the concepts and some common applications. The learning outcomes are as follows:
- Image reading and processing
- Color isolation
- Object detection and tracking
- Optimization and filtering techniques
All of that, in addition to some interesting application in face recognition, and makeshift Snapchat filters!
The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 10:00 am, in IOEC.
The workshop is free for everyone to attend, but places are limited, and priority will be given to club members and AUB students. Note that you do not need to bring anything to the workshop – we will be providing all the needed components, and you will be using the lab computers. However, you are welcome to bring your own laptops!
To sign up, please fill out this form, and we will be sending the exact location details, along with a confirmation of your seat in the workshop: https://goo.gl/forms/fZR9IpjUrykOAKEN2
Looking forward to seeing you,
AUB Robotics Club
