I'm wondering what it means to divide min and max threshold values by 10,000.0?

and also what is the unit of measurement for Min Distance and Max Distance? camerasettings2d.ui

The division is just a scaling. I don't quite remember if the data from kinect was used in meters or millimeters but i think we used millimeters (even though the scaling suggests we might have used mts). In general consider 10 units in background method to be 1cm and 100 units is 1cm in plane method (for both min and max distances).
