Hi DCE and GDs
We presented the 9th PA Humorous Speech Challenge Cup 2012 at the CMM meeting on 26 June 2012 and are happy to know about senior management’s strong support for this project. To recap, the contest presents an excellent platform for PA staff (as participants and contestants) to build up staff capability, to share stories on their work and role, using touches of humour, so that a wider audience know the good things that PA does, and building social capital at that. Moreover, we hope and know that the entire process and seeing our staff in action and participation would be great FUN for everyone...
We have finalised the guidelines and rules and some other arrangements. The CMM had agreed that each Cluster will nominate 3-4 staff as contestants, Grassroots Cluster itself will nominate 30 staff as contestants and specifically, NACLI will provide at least one staff as contestant. And through a selection process, we will select the most eligible staff to enter the Preliminaries on 15 and 16 September 2012. To help our staff along, all nominees will attend preparatory and coaching workshops arranged by NACLI in August. We will also need your help to get some colleagues as Judges for the contest.
