Apologies for sending this late.
Hello Fellow Leng Kee Toastmasters, Visiting Toastmasters & Friends,
Everyone introduced themselves on; “What made me my day?” and went round the entire room.
Jiali shared about herself in the Project 1: Ice Breaker Speech. Steven Choon shared about his Toastmasters journey, talking about his life experiences that he gained. Mary Soon talked about the Public Relations in about being confident in our public speaking. Honey Yee was portrayed as communicating on the television, regarding the petroleum and natural gas of the biodegradables to the natural environment. She handled the grueling question and answer session with ease. Raymond Lim honoured our Club for achieving President’s Distinguished Club with a Toast.
Everyone brought their potluck food. We had kuehs, salads, chicken wings, fruit tarts… What a huge spread for everyone to consume during the tea-break and mingle with each other.
Jiali was evaluated by Dennis Kwan. Steven was evaluated by
Willam Tang. Mary Soon was evaluated by Tan Kwan Hong. Honey Yee was evaluated
by her specially sourced evaluator Wilson Ong. Raymond Lim was evaluated by
Navin Parwal. All gave the speakers on their strengths and areas of improvements.
Our Club Executive Committtee 2012-2013 was installed by Area B2 Governor Nicole Tay from West Coast CC Toastmasters Club.
Robert gave an inspiring speech of his Dream for the club with his Vision and Goals for the Club.
Gerald Ong facilitated the meeting through the announcement
of the Club Contest on 28th August 2012. Many members volunteered to
take up roles and participate in the club contest. This would now be a key feature of our meeting programme every month. Our speaking slots for September is full. We are still looking for appointment holders. If you are keen, please inform Steven who is in the cc loop.
