i made a serious mistake by including the ticket for the workshop.
so sorry . please delete the ticket portion from your email. Gerald ong  will help to rescue me from my error. but i trust you will only attend d workshop when u have genuinely bought d ticket.  In any case, Gerald will.have a master  copy of names lf those who buy d tickets. 

what this error shows is that it is time for me to step down president of lka.

How can you say you want to step down? I think everybody will be in shock.
 
Now is the high time for us to lead our club to Distinguished Club (Feb 2012 - June 2012), we only have these 4 months left to do so! As I am also a club president, I believe we are on the same boat.
 
This is only a workshop. Everything will be in good hands if the organising person will be doing a good job. It has nothing to do with your president role.
 
You are considered more fortunate than me. During my club exco meeting, my club advisor and the exco team wants to have extra chapter meetings and a speechcraft. Extra meetings is for more members to do projects and speechcraft is to recruit more members: because we only have hit 3 DCP goals. Moreover, 3 members will not renewing their dues and only 1 member will be recruited, in the other words, negative of 2, and I dare not forward their emails of not renewing dues to the club advisor. Therefore, we are going to have 2 meetings in March and May, and speechcraft in the whole month of April, terribly busy...

 

 

Hi Gerald,

Mary has a kind soul to help selling the tickets. I suggest you should amend your way of selling the tickets and the way you approach people.

Mary also has stated in the email to refer and contact you for those people who are interested.

By the way, just to inform you that someone else also has advertised the workshop in another toastmasters club during the club contest, and she did not mention to contact you if they are interested. How are you going to handle that?

I would like to centralize all ticket sales to my end under the advice of the club treasurer. I can manage any walk in. Kevin has already advised that he can take in a few walk in pax.

Hi Mary thanks for helping me circulate the flyer in the initial stage. U may have noticed that stuff within my LGET team runs on a timing cue. Hence thats why I say to hold marketing until I release the first wave.
