It has been an enriching learning experience for me personally .

To ensure that Leng Kee Advanced Toastmasters Club  ( LKA TMC) ,
continues to organise rich learning experiences for all of us to
participate in and to ensure the club's continuity , we request your help.

Please nominate members ( or volunteer yourself) to be in the committee for the next term .

Cannot agree with you more, Honey. Would you be able to continue on the Exco for the new term?  If so, what position would you like to take on?  We can have 2 persons covering each of the key positions, esp. for VPE, VPM and VPPR s well as the Secretary.

Ban has agreed to consider taking on the position of VPPR when Mary and I spoke to him after Kevin's workshop last Sat.

Thanks for all the hard work for the term.

 

The results shown that with your leadership and the team efforts,

LKA is becoming stronger and stronger each and every day.

 

As I had shared with you that it is a great opportunity for one to

sharpen their skills in both Leadership and Communication.

 

In fact I strongly encourage the members to take the challenge

to be part of the Executives Committee for the coming year and

many years to come.

 

I would also encourage the VPE, VPM, VPPR, Treasurer, SAA

and Secretary to form your sub-committee by getting the members

to be involved.

 

These will allow the club members to understand the different roles

with they participations. It would also be easier to nurture successor

with the leadership and communication skills learned during the

process.

 

Foundation is important for all of us on both Communication and

Leadership Skills. Improve your skills by doing and using the skills.

 

Remember, Toastmasters - Where Leaders Are Made...

It has been a great year being a VPE as i do learn a lot, I will nominate Gerald Ong as my successor of being the next VPE.

I highly recommend all members to consider taking a role in the upcoming exco team 2012-2013, as i find it a great learning experience.

I'll be moving towards being Area S6 Governor as my name had already been submitted.

Thanks for all the compliments . Now my head is getting as big as my waist !

I have had an interesting time - sometimes challenging. Most times, I am grateful for the wonderful support of the members and especially the ex-co members  .

Most plants do not grow and bear fruits within a year . The durian needs 7 years , I understand , unlike the papaya . The longan and orange trees need between 3-5 years to produce fruits .

Let us continue to nurture the LKA plant - with constant watering  , fertilising and sometimes, even pruning ! In time, we will reap .

A big thank you to those who have planted and cared for the plant too- those previous ex-co members and others - since its seed was sown .
