On Thursday, August 30, 2012 the San Diego Planning Commission will be considering the year-round rope permit application for the Children's Pool Beach.
The San Diego City Council declared the Children's Pool Beach in La Jolla a Marine Protected Area by resolution in 2009.
In 2010, the San Diego City Council approved the year- round rope by a supermajority.
The Mayor of San Diego signed both of these resolutions.
The California Coastal Commission gave their unanimous approval for the year- round rope last month.
Please approve the City of San Diego's Site Development Permit Application for the year-round rope at the Children's Pool Beach.
I have been a resident of La Jolla for 30 years.
I support the year-round rope to protect the seals.
