Good Morning Bylaws Update Committee,
As the January 4th Special Member Meeting Approaches I wanted to be sure everyone has read the CPG Recognition application and we have everything prepared. Greg I am sure you have everything ready to go following the outcomes of next week's meeting. For anyone who hasn't seen the application, you can view it
here.
the Bylaws committee should have input on the 2 mandatory questions on the application, we never discussed these questions in our meetings? Has anyone prepared these answers in advance. If so can you please share what you are planning to submit? Questions are as follows:
1: How will your Planning Group be accessible to all members of your community? Please provide five (5) examples of efforts that your organization will employ to broadly share and publicize the opportunity to participate in the Planning Group and engage the overall community about land use-related issues. Examples can include, but are not limited to those found in Council Policy 600-24 Exhibit A – Planning Group Community Participation and Representation Plan such as maintaining a website, a community bulletin board, partnerships with other community-wide/neighborhood-level organizations, surveys on top concerns and issues in the community, etc. (Maximum 500 Words). You may paste in text from another document here.
2: How will your Planning Group fairly represent all members of your community? Please explain how your Planning Group's member composition is representative of the diverse interests in your community. (Maximum 500 Words). You may paste in text from another document here.
Also have we prepared the mandatory Member Composition sheet? probably not since I have not seen a request go out asking Trustees to fill out one of the required Member Composition sheets. Greg, were you planning to have Trustees fill these out on September 4th?
Please provide the Bylaws Update committee with a copy of the completed Application for review before it is submitted to the City.
