Hello lovely LJ15!

To follow on the heels of Simone's reminder about Third Weekend and the Service Team, Rainy Day Notes are a part of what we get to create for LJ16 and I am SUPER EXCITED about getting us together to make this happen.

WHEN: Saturday, November 16 from 11 am - 5 pm

(come anytime, stay for as long as you can)

WHERE: Taylor Residence

34-14 81st Street, Apt. 52, Jackson Heights, NY

AND also

WHEREever you might be.

I would love for as many of you to come be together at my apartment to hang out and write and think and decorate envelopes and BE together, but no matter where you are, keep that time sacred and set aside a part of it to be still and writing notes even if you are not physically present.

THE PLAN:

1. Write to our LJ15 friends and seniors (maybe you never completed them all or want to write more? Why not!)

2. Write to our LJ16 friends and seniors (I'll collect them -- if you are afar, send them to me directly to arrive BEFORE November 22)

3. Create and decorate "mailbox" envelopes for LJ16 and seniors. (This will only happen at my apartment).

WHAT TO BRING:

Note cards and envelopes (and if you have extras bring to swap and share).

Inspiration, compassion, and love.

Snacks to share (I'll provide some stuff and drinks).

I"ll have the "mailbox" envelopes and plenty of glue stix.

The amazing Jill "the crafts lady" will provide sharpies every color of the rainbow and assorted other things from her crafts closet.

RSVP Via phone, text, email, smoke signal, heart beat. Just give me a sign.

Please come if you can. It will be cozy.

Nat and Freda -- I love that you'll have dinner -- and it will be special for us knowing you are together too!

And for the rest of y'all -- forgot to mention that we have two very sweet, but very furry kitties...something to keep in mind if you have allergies....
