As I raised my voice in command of these three lines the depth of responsibility and the privilege I had just been given set in. I've shared, we've shared how we want to hold the space at CEC sacred, as staff that took on a whole new meaning for me. 

During last night's grounding I was reminded of how each and everyone of us is alive in that room. I wanted to remind us all how sacred that space is and how powerful the spirit is we created on our journey of breakthroughs and self awareness:

Grateful Ron sat next to me. You held my hand, told me everything would be ok with out words, without contact.

The Freda that found her poetic voice, she told me we were connected forever. We are.

The first time I saw Simone stand for herself as the blessing she is to all of us.

Where I watched Aaron & Kate become the spirit of our group and expose the beautiful souls they are.

Where I watched Tas DHN cry, scream, & shout to let us know they mattered. 

Watching Jasmine & Naeem experience "the" breakdown, TY for allowing me to be a part of that raw, beautiful day.

To watch Adnan fall in love again, a beautiful man and a beautiful woman!

To watch Shabir surrender to being a righteous asshole and becoming a precious soul with a higher purpose. 

Watching Abizer find his power (of all places in his ball sac). Forever my righteous brother. 

Witnessing Mustansir/Abizer showing up as men, as brothers, with love.

The day Abbas uncle stepped into his wisdom and shared it with us.

The day Henricka danced & felt the gift she was to Lily, Andy & LJ15.

The day Nat showed up as a GREAT leader & opened my eyes to who I could be.

When we all got to experience Larry as the source of Love he is.

Being a part of fatherhood when Murtuza & his wife brought that beautiful baby boy into the world.

The day Mamta stood in front of us and declared her womanhood and believed it her self. 

For me, Anthony, that day that you all handed me the heart and love I had misplaced for far too long.

Ray, Mickey, Sue, Anjali, Haleh, Jill, Mia, Jessie, Jimmy, Franco - THANK YOU!

I love you for all that you did for me, for us!

This weekend, Discovery 17, I raise my voice in command of these three lines with the depth of responsibility and the privilege I have been given.
