So the headset's great and all that, but I have a little problem. I cannot seem to find an option to lower the microphone boost. I'd assume it's all the way to the max right now. And with razer synapse it didn't work great. at all. So I don't have any razer software. Just plug&play right now.
I would suggest going through the "game boost options" (drop down menu above the check boxes) and browsing both the processes and the services pages.
There may be more than one spotify related task and one is forcing the whole program down.
I would also check to make sure your spotify is up to date. From what I can tell on the Spotify forums, there is an issue with spotify duplicating itself in your Task Manager and creating 5-6 .EXEs of itself. This could be where your issue is... your game booster is confused with which EXE to keep running perhaps?
You can indeed tell Gamebooster to not shut down certain processes, such as Spotify, in the Utilities menu. First, make sure you are in a normal, unboosted state. Your Gamebooster tray icon will be green:
