Somebody, everybody, any body, and nobody were neighbors. Odd people
are hard to understand. The way that some of them lived it was a shame.
For example, somebody would gossip about his neighbors. Everybody knew
that it was wrong. Anybody could refuse to listen, but nobody did,
anybody knew that everybody was talking about somebody.
Now all four bodies went to the same church. Anybody wanted to go to
church, but couldn't go, because he wouldn't speak to anybody.
Nobody was faithful to the church. Nobody worked in the church, and
when they needed a Sunday school teacher, everybody thought that
anybody would do, but anybody thought that somebody could do it better
than he. Can you guess which was the one that finally did it? Nobody!
A fifth neighbor came moving into the neighborhood. Somebody thought
that everybody ought to invite the new neighbor to church. Anybody
could have made the effort, but didn't. Do you know which one of them
finally won him to the Lord?
Nobody!
