Hi Jerry & family! My twin brother Larry Livingston sent me a few pictures which I loved. Sorry I couldn't make it this year. My husband, Cliff, is working, and as a painting contractor, this is his busy season. Maybe we will make the trip out your way with our RV next spring.I am a retired Spanish, ELD teacher. Love the emails. Much love, Cheryl Livingston Quiales from Shingletown, (northern) California.

 Topic: 83rd reunion recap

Steve Morris <steven...@gmail.com> Aug 06 09:32AM -0700 ^
From Jerry and Kathy Schultz:   Well, we had a great 83rd reunion on the 24th of July, 2010, here in Amery, Wisconsin. There were 30 in attendance (a record for the last few years, I believe!) Over half of those here were at a reunion for the first time! Larry and Carol Livingston hadn't seen any of their Livingston clan since Jesse's (Larry's Dad) funeral in 1961. Mildred Livingston (wife of Charles, son of Cyrus, son of Jesse) was the oldest female here at 97!!! Oldest male was Maurice Hammons from Plattsmouth, NE (84) There were 14 from Mildred's line and 10 from Wilma Schultz's line (daughter of Cyrus, son of Jesse). Horseshoes, ladder golf, bean-bag toss, and the trampoline were enjoyed by many. A group from Forever Plaid sang several songs for the group and the group itself, of course, harmonized beautifully on many hymns. Tours were also taken to a "glass house" and one of my churches (dedicated in 2009).   It was decided to have next year's gathering in Lincoln and the following year (85th gathering) to be in Cass County, our ancestral Nebraska homeland. Great food was enjoyed by all. Rachel Wayman brought all the history books of our family and continues to be our "chief historian".   NOTE: Mom, (Wilma), and I were talking about the Spangler reunion, which has only about 20 attending in Lincoln each year in June, perhaps joining with the Livingstons. Both Louise (Cyrus) Livingston and Lillian (Reuel) Sack were Spanglers ! Perhaps they might join us on the 85th.!?   Please remind all family members to email us so we can communicate that way and save on postage.   Jerry and Kathy Schultz
