grandchildren, neighbors, friends, family or strangers, there is
someone who is learning from you. Remember this, be a role model,
show them how to reach for their biggest dreams through your actions
on yours. Teach them that anything is possible by believing in
yourself. Make sure that you communicate to empower, encourage them
with words. You can do it; Your are so intelligent; You have such a
good heart; Follow your dreams; Go for it; You are such a beautiful
soul/person; You can do anything you want to do, I know you can; I am
so proud of you; You are so gifted; I really admire the way you

Look for ways you can use empowerment communication. Using
empowerment communication can change a life.
I had a 9 year old girl come to the ranch with her family and one
morning she approached me for a deep level conversation. In the
conversation I told her that she could have anything she wanted, she
only had to want it with all her heart and take the action to get it.
She said with conviction, "I can't have anything I want". I asked her
to name one thing that she couldn't have. She thought a second and
said, "the Whitehouse". I responded, Well the Whitehouse is owned by
the American people right?" She said, "yes". "And you are an
American citizen, so you already own part of the Whitehouse, and, if
you run for president and get elected you can live there." You just
have to know that that is what you really want and then go after it.
A stillness came over the room and she grew very quiet as she thought
a long minute. Then she looked at me and suddenly a light came on her
face and was shining through her eyes and she exclaimed, "Oh, I See".
Turn on your light and others will see how it's done. Remember they
are learning from you, whether you do or whether you don't that is
what you are passing along.
