The Light Within You Be Pt.3
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, That God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:5-7 KJV
We have been talking about a lot of the benefits of being a light and allowing the anointing of Almighty God to operate within you causing darkness to run and flee with absolute terror. We also have been going over how you are actually light. God is light and you are light. Our spirits and God's Spirit are made of the same substance. There is no difference. The key as with anything is renewing your mind so much to what the Word of God says about who you are and what you are able to do as a child of the King. You are “Christ” ians. You are anointed vessels of God and are worthy to carry all of who He is on the inside of you and to share it with all of those around you that are not yet walking in the truth and also to your brothers and sisters in Christ.
What I like that is covered in verse 7 above is one very important thought that I want you to meditate on the rest of this week. It says that if you walk in the light as He is in the light, then you will have fellowship with the Father. You cannot fellowship with God while you are still doing the things you know you shouldnt be doing. God only fellowships with those who make the quality choice to walk in the truth of His Word and He fellowships or has a tight intimate relationship with those who totally devote themselves to Him and to renewing their minds to the Word of God.
Another good verse that backs up what I am saying is in John 14:21 that says that if we do keep, which means to hold stedfast to God's Word with our whole hearts, then that is a person who does love Me. It goes on to say that the Father will also love him and will make Himself manifest to him. Think about that for a minute. How many times have you heard someone say I want God to make Himself known in my life? Well the key is in the above verse. You have to walk in the Word. God does nothing apart from His Word. He and His Word are one in the same. They cant be separated.
So what do you have to do to walk in all that God has for you? First a quality decision of which there is no turning back. You have to take the time you dig into your Bible and renew your thinker to think the way God thinks. You have to change the way you see things so that you see things as He does. Fill up your spirit man with the Word like never before. When you do that then what it says in Matthew 12 about good treasures coming out of your inner most belly will happen. Before you know it all you will be speaking is the Word because you ARE the Word made manifest and are dwelling among men. You will be doing not only the things Jesus did in His earthly walk but even greater Halleljuah!!!
