The Light Within You Be Pt.1
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, That God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:5-7 KJV
Ive been recently doing a lot of thinking about light. When most people think about light they think of the obvious, if there is light then there isnt any darkness. Lights number one job and function is when it is on and activated darkness has to go. When any of us flicks on a light switch what is our expectation? It is for the light from the light bulb to cause the darkness around us to go and we can see what we are doing. There isnt any doubt from the light bulb that when electricty is pumped through it that it will win over darkness everytime. Why? It was designed that way.
We have to be like minded like a light bulb. Every time we face a troublesome situation in our lives or the life of someone else around us you have to recognize that what is happening. The enemy is trying to cloud and and distract you from your purpose. What is our purpose? Well we get glimpses of it in Acts 10:38 that says how got had anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power, and went about doing good and healed ALL that were oppressed from the devil, for God was with him. You likewise can apply this verse to you. Put your name in where Jesus name is written in that verse. Like “How God has anointed Vince with the Holy Ghost and power, and he goes about doing good and healing all that are oppressed of the devil for God is with him.”
If you are a believer in Christ and you have the Holy Ghost within you, you are a conduit like a light bulb for God to do some awesome things through. You are a conduit of the anointing and its the anointings job to remove every burden and every yoke of the devil. It is its design and purpose to do so. When you lay hands on someone who is sick, expect with light within you to go out of you into them and to expel the darkness of that sickness and disease. When you are praying for someones salvation expect the light within you to be in them and for life to rise up in their hearts and for them to come to the knowledge of the truth. If you are praying about your finances expect the light that is within you to be on that situation and expect that situation to line with with the light or the truth of Gods Word.
Does a light bulb have to think about being a light bulb? No It is so sure and stedfast in its operation in bringing forth light and removing darkness that it doesnt even think about it. It just does it. We likewise have to have the same mindset like a light bulb. We have to renew our minds to the Word of God so much that wherever we go we know that we are anointed by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and know that in all we do as lights that darkness not only flees, it runs in terror because we know who we are and who is behind all that we do.
