This program focuses on the significance of the $15 an hour city-wide minimum wage recently approved by the City of Seattle; minimum wage and living wage campaigns across the Bay Area which are part of the national "Fight for $15" campaign (Oakland, San Francisco, Sonoma and Santa Clara); and ballot initiatives to raise state minimum wages above the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour.
