My Urgent Gift to Enable the Museum of the Bible to Re-Open
Dear Friend,
I have never sent an email like this before, but never has there been such distress and turmoil all around us. I join you in your anguish.
If ever there was a time to lift the hope, peace, mercy, and justice found in the Bible, it is now. Will you please send a generous gift to provide urgent funding as we prayerfully forge ahead with plans to re-open?
Here is what is going on: due to Covid-19 we have been closed for over 80 days with no visitors and no admission income. We are resolute to reopen our doors just as soon as it is safe to do so—and we need your help. I just got off a call with our leadership team and have approved increased security protocols to protect our staff, secure the facilities, and ensure visitor safety.
Your gift will provide the immediate funds needed to ensure our ability to open not just the doors of the Museum, but also the hearts and minds of our visitors as they engage with the Bible. Countless lives will experience the truth found in the final three verses of Psalm 91:

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.

During this season of social distancing, our curators have gained a whole new audience as The Lonesome Curator has used social media to tell the story of the Greatest Book ever written. We have exciting new exhibits and are planning several major events just as soon as local authorities allow.
There are no extra funds in our budget to meet the unexpected needs, but your gift today will provide instant relief, safety, and the assurance that the Museum of the Bible continues to impact lives as together we present the Bible’s life-changing message.
Please send your gift today. I urge you to open your heart, open your Bible, and open your spirit as you give today. Your action is needed now. Thank you.
With gratitude for your support,
