Liverpie restricted for ruby 1.8 only?

LiverPie only works on ruby 1.8? I have planned to migrate to ruby 2.x and when I try to start liverpie I got error? Comments, suggestions appreciated.

I’ve never tried it with older versions, and I stopped maintaining the product.

What’s the error you’re getting? Maybe I can help.
