messanger widget designing help

hi to all i'm new to widget designing basically a c# developer,i have
task to design a widget like AOL IM messenger it should support google
map also, and it should pasted in any website user able to access it,
i found livepipe will do it for me but as beginner its best to ask
suggestion from experts in this, so please guide me in designing
widget , i have gone through the protoypejs and livepipe example till
now i'm not able to understand clearly ,some code snippets will help
me lot for creating window with two tabs that is my primary
requirement
