Hi all

Hope your students have enjoyed your extended time off! (how are you holding up?)

When you come in Monday to pick up materials notice that your student's graded work and Main Lesson Books are on their desks.  However, I have not had time to calculate final grades.  I will do that over the course of this week and send those individually.

For Physics:  Here are instructions for students.  Please help them as needed.  I believe that Ms Leah has sent a tutorial video on using Google CLassroom.  If you have not seen it, the link is at the bottom of this email.

THIS MONDAY:  Log into your google classroom for physics and do the 3 tasks listed.(watch a video, take a photo and upload it, fill out an attached "document").  This is just to try it out and make sure everything works.  Please do this before Tuesday so I know if I need to change anything.  It will be ready by 9am.

THIS WEDNESDAY and thereafter:
I will post demonstrations on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9am, along with instructions.  Whenever possible, I will give suggestions on how you might do them at home if you want to.  In some cases I will have you try something at home.  In all cases your job will be to write up the experiment in the usual format (I will post it as as reminder).  You will be able to do this directly online, or handwritten - take a picture or scan, then post (instructions in google classroom).

On Wednesdays I will hold office hours in smaller groups.  You will see an access code in Google Classroom for your group. This is your time to ask clarifying questions or participate in discussions as needed.
The groups are:
Group A 9:15-9:45
Angeles
Ben
Jaden
Jenna

Hi.

A few questions came up:
1.  The physics class code is ijdxrdl
2.  I have not yet posted the assignment for Monday
3.  Other than paper, pencil, pens, you will not need to pick up materials for PHYSICS at school.  You will need to get ELA materials.

I think this is all.  I'll generally respond to all of you when questions come up unless, of course, it is a personal matter.

Good luck to you all!  We will figure it all out and get rolling over the next couple of days.

Heather
