Selection process of Livestock Para Professional (LPP) and Agri Para Professional (APP)

Dear DPMs,

 

I would like to inform that the plan for Livelihood cluster programme is being successfully rolled out, with extensive support of all DPMs, livelihood YPs and other staff. 

As per current plan of clusters one Livestock Para Professional (LPP) /Agri Para Professional (APP) should be selected in each Dairy, Goatary, crop and Vegetable cluster in order to provide technical and hand holding support to Pashu / Krishi Sakhi and group members.

Primary level screening of LPP/APP should be carried out at district level through CLF OBs and project staff, later selected LPP/APP will be finalized through state level screening. It is mandatory that the selected LPP/APP should be one of the Pashu/Krishi Sakhi.

Eligibility Criteria for Livestock Para professional (LPP) /Agri Para Professional (APP):-

• Education- Female candidate with minimum education criteria as 10^th pass. 
• Age- 20 – 45 Years. 
• Should be member of SHG formed under RGAVP and she should have minimum 50 meetings in SHG.
• Willing to move within the cluster villages.
• Should have her own vehicle for mobility.
• Should be from same Cluster. 
• Livestock rearing experiences – should be a livestock rearer from at least last Two years. 
• Good communication skill.

 

Please send final list of selected LPP/APP till 25^th October, 2016. After that we will process the final screening of LPP/APP at state level.

Thanks for sharing the selection procedure of APP and LPP. Policies of above both are also attached. I think these are final policies.

Dear Kirit Ji,

As per your mail APP & LPP should be Krishi Sakhi and Pashu Sakhi, with 50 meetings, 10th pass, 2 wheeler etc. However there was no such criteria for selecting Pashu Sakhi and Krishi Sakhi by the CRPs.
Now if our Pashu Sakhi and Krishi Sakhi are not falling under these criteria how can we select APP / LPP among them.
Please clarify.
