Dear DPM,

As we are into formation of Livelihood clusters in 12 districts of Rajasthan, for the same we need to conduct a baseline survey for impact assessment of our interventions after a period. Tomorrow we would be organizing VC for explaining and sharing the format for baseline survey -

Date- 9th August

Time - 3.30 to 5.30 PM

All blocks would be connected along with this livelihood YPs and PFTs should be compulsorily present in this VC.

It is requested to share revised format to Livelihood YPs/PFTs and direct them to initiate survey by next week.They may advised to utilize the services of Pashu Sakhi/Krishi Sakhi/AW etc to carry out survey after necessary orientation.

If necessary we may schedule one Video Conference  tomorrow to brief questionnaire and decide necessary timelines

This is to inform you that monthly meeting of District Level Livelihood Committee is scheduled at 11.30 am at Kota and being YP Livelihood I was instructed to attend the same every month to submit the progress report of Livelihood and further planning. 

Kindly allow me to attend the VC from District as PFT Livestock have also gave his resignation a month back .

Pl ensure that we get baseline information on things like

A. Cropped area

B. Yield per ha

C. Irrigated area

D. Present practices of agriculture like source of seed 

E. Cost of cultivation per ha 

And so on

At the end of the project, questions will be asked as what came out of the project, in terms of income to farmers and whether the change is sustainable

As per the suggestions received from yesterday's VC regarding the Baseline Survey for Livelihoods intervention, we have developed a new revised format and sharing here.

Please note the survey need to be completed by 25th Aug. 2016, data transfer from hard copy to soft copy by 31st Aug. 2016 and communicate the same soft data to SPMU by 5th Sept. 2016.

The YP-LH & PFT-LH are responsible for the process. The DPMs are also requested to have random visit and ensure quality during the survey exercise.

This is to inform you that we have only one Data Entry Operator at Block and we are facing diffculty in data entry of baseline survey.

Kindly give us approval for getting the data entry done from the open market. Also, tell us the cost per entry to be paid.
