Text Field Pattern with " " and spaces

I have a requirement  to enclose text with " " in text field  display and retain any leading spaces.I am able to get the quotes using display pattern  as text{"OOOOO"}.The issue I face is that if data in xml has spaces leading it the pattern  fails to add " and just display data with spaces but if without  spaces " is enclosed. Please help with correct  pattern  to use
