I keep getting a shared review started on a Acrobat 8 Dynamic XML Form
and I get an error that this "form is interactive and has special
feature. To save a copy of it that you can treat as any other PDF
file, choose file > Print and then choose Adobe PDF printer.."

Is this a limitation to dynamic xml forms or is there a way to enable
this in Acrobat 8 Dynamic XML Forms? Is this available in new versions
of LiveCycle? Thanks.

It's a limitation of XML (XFA) based PDFs.

I think it's because an XFA PDF isn't a real PDF, it's a bunch of XML code with a wrapper that tells Acrobat how it should be displayed.

So the only way to use the review functions is to flatten the XFA form by printing it to a new PDF or using a LiveCycle server-side process.

Comments and Markup require a static PDF because the annotation is placed on a layer that is attached to a coordinate in the document. This won't work in a Dynamic form.
