Regarding Watched Folder on Livecycle ES2

Hi All ,

We have a PDF conversion process configured on our LiveCycle Server and for some reason its failing to convert a lot of files, for example we ran a batch of around 5000 files and only around 500 got converted.

The version is ES2 and we have also optimised the batch and repeat time interval.This failure is not input specific.

The excels that fail in batch are processed successfully when dropped in other batch or alone.

Can anyone suggest what is getting wrong with the server as to why it picks up excels radomly and drops them in failure folder

Do the logs show anything? Where are the skipped files placed (remain where there are, error folder, etc...)?

There is a directory structure as result, failure, preserve.The failed conversions go in failure folder..

But i knw that MSExcel file type settings are defind in the adminui.. yet can t figure out the reason for this  ExcelToPdfConverter conversion.. 

Is it that the acrobat was installed from a different account than the livecycle installtion account. But if this is the reason all excels in batch should fail.

What else could be the reason. Am i missing something in logs.?

It's not clear from the logs why this is failing. It says that the conversion is failing for some reason. Can you check the Microsoft logs? Maybe there are hints there.

Do you remember the resolution for this, i am running into a similar problem like yours, where my stage folder gets filled up and i receive Transaction not Active errors.
