Almost sure that this is a stupid question, but doesn't found the solution.

I use a Master page with the heading and some items that only need to be published on the front page.
I have a form with expanding fields, so it is possible that when filling in the fields, a part of the form comes on a second page.

2 solutions :

1. I add a second master Page. That works, but then I have a second page, even when this is empty.

2. I can use the Pagination tab in Master Pages, but all fields are grey and so dissabled. I also tried to restrict the Page Occurence, (max to 1), but this gives a second page with the same heading as the Master Page.

Question : how can I enable the Odd/Even - Placement fields ?

Please post your form so we can take a look.  A couple of different issues can cause this behavior.

Good morning Howard,

File posted. I just added a simple fax document.
There is a field to put all the text. Whe it is to large, this start on the second page. Works fine, except that the logo, witch is on the master pages, always stay, also on teh second page.
I can not set the page occurence, so that only the master page is displayed on the first page.
It is possible to add a second master page, but when I didn't need it, there is always a blanc extra paper.

Hope you can see what I mean ?

Maybe I do something wrong, or missunderstood I the use of this feature. See also the PNG with the grey fields.

Since your first page is different from other pages you must have a second master page.

Thanks and regards

Thanks for the reply. Ok, that is clear, but problem is that the second page is then also displayed, even when the form have just one page. When the form is longer, it works fine wit a second master page, but what if there is only one page ?

I am sure it is possible to block this, but don't know how to do that.

It seems to work ok for me.

Click on the Page1 master page and on the Master Page tab of the Object palette click "Restrict Page Occurence" and set the min and max count to 1.

Add a second master page.

Click on the Pagina1 subform and on the Pagination tab of the Object Palette set Overflow in "If Dataset Must Be Paginated" to Go To Page "Page2".
