Workspace Customization

I have some technical question if you can help me out as we need to customize some changes in Workspace and we are looking for the followings

 

       I have following question related to workspace customization

 

·         Can we modify the workspace ES standalone code (adding a link using Flex) for example. As we need to integrate workspace with their legacy portal and we need to call a link from workspace. So let me know the possibility

·         In our case of applicatoin Automation. End users will be filling Adobe Forms and submitting it online where livecycle will take care and will put the data in database. But data will be saved in some particular tables with a primary key say “APPLICATION Number” . At the same time that form will be assigned to a back office user for approval and workflow. Now in Workspace how can I search that form using that Application Number which is not the process ID and it is field of a manual table.

1. Modifying the standalone workspace code is not supported

2. You can do it!  - See the attached screenshot which I have created similar to your logic.
