I am not sure what do you want to do but I Know that

Some versions ago existed a solution for save documents with automatic name  app.execMenuItem("Save"); and adding the name. It was a big problem becouse was very dangerous for security so now you cant do that, yo can save now any pdf with the command  app.execMenuItem("SaveAs"); but without automatic name.

I never change the name of the attachment. Its very interesting your issue but i can gave you an Idea. As you should know, its possible change the title of the email and add a text in the email. You cant change the name of the attachment but you could add the name of the file in the text body or in the tittle of the email.

Maybe it could help you with your problem, more or less.

Regards

Iago
