I am going through the LiveCycle Forms Server 8.2 configuration
process on a Red Hat Enterprise server and am having a problem. I have
gone through the "Configure LiveCycle ES (3 of 3)" part of the GUI
configuration tool. Once I get through this part, the instructions say
that I need to stop JBoss, then copy adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear and
adobe-livecycle-native-jboss-x86_linux.ear files to the JBoss server/
all/deploy/ directory. I do this, then restart JBoss as instructed.
JBoss starts and tries to deploy the .ear files that are now in the
deploy directory. During this deploy process, I keep getting a lot of
warnings and a few errors. Here are examples of a few:

WARN [MainDeployer] Found non-jar deployer for adobe-dscf.jar:
MBeanProxyExt[jboss.ejb:service=EJBDeployer]
WARN [MainDeployer] Found non-jar deployer for um.jar: MBeanProxyExt
[jboss.ejb:service=EJBDeployer]
WARN [MainDeployer] Found non-jar deployer for adobe-wkf.jar:
MBeanProxyExt[jboss.ejb:service=EJBDeployer]
ERROR [com.adobe.idp.config.AdobePreferenceFactory]
UserM:GENERIC_ERROR: [Thread Hashcode: 10040639] Problem with system
root| [com.adobe.idp.storeprovider.jdbc.DBStoreFactory] errorCode:
12293 errorCodeHEX:0x3005 message:The VersionEntitity table does not
exist in the LiveCycle database. Please bootstrap LiveCycle database.

There are some others, but those are a good sample.

After a while, I just keep getting the following warning every hour:

WARN [com.adobe.idp.um.scheduler.SchedulerStartupJob]
UserM:GENERIC_WARNING: [Thread Hashcode: 7086362] Scheduler has not
started this past hour since the database isn't ready. The most benign
reason for this message that the server has not been used since it was
started. Common other causes include the database not existing or not
being correctly configured.

If I go to the next step in the Configuration GUI (Database
Initialization), trying to initialize the database returns the
following error; ALC-TTN-104-002: Could not connect to bootstrap
servlet; the requested URL was not found on the server. Is Adobe
LiveCycle deployed?

So obviously the deployment didn't succeed.

Thoughts, anyone? I'm going to contact Adobe support about this, but I
wanted to see if anyone here had any ideas.

I see these all the time when building servers, just ignore them.

This is a new one, but it seems pretty benign to me.

Could you try deploying the schema from a browser:

Interesting...I keep getting "can't find the server at aix.adobe.com".
I'll try from home later.
