Software raid recovery after rhel5 installation

Hi All
I have four 146Gb hard drive. I have installed Rhel5.5 with lvm on
two hard drive. After OS installation we have configure software raid1
on remaining two hard drive with mount point /u01.
Due to some reason we have to format the OS. can we recover the raid1
data after OS installation?
Pl help.
