How can we install ffmpeg with libx264 support at fedora?

Hi Sudhir,

Both packages are available from the repositories on internet. just try them... 

if facing some issue, please share the more descriptive information, output so that someone can help you out.

Thanks for the reply.. by default it doesn't install libx264 support
at linux.. It is working fine at windows..
So i checkout from svn://svn.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg/trunk ffmpeg at fedora
12 and even at 15
and trying to enable libx264 using
./configure --enable-libx264 --enable-gpl --enable-shared
here is the output i am getting..

ERROR: libx264 version must be >= 0.83.

If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the
latest
version from SVN. If the latest version fails, report the problem to
the
ffmpe...@mplayerhq.hu mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on
irc.freenode.net.
Include the log file "config.err" produced by configure as this will
help
solving the problem.

This is required for iPad/iPhone compatible mp4 video.
