something special i have seen in AIX today

A folder conatins two sub folder with same name. But inode are different . Folder name contains letter and number no special character 

ibmtest2 
ibmtest2 

AIX 6.1 

What could be ?

It is not possible to have two files/folders with the same name at same location. It is some kind of tricks. someone might have used some special character with the filename. you can find, what the special character is used by using the following command:-

cat -vet foldername

Note:- foldername  is parent directory of these folders i.e. ibmtest2

I hope, it will help you. Once it's done let us know the outcome.
