Hi Folks, as I mentioned we will be meeting (online and phone conference) either tomorrow night or Tuesday to make all necessary decisions for this years LITweetup Helps. Please click and choose the time that works best for you:

Newbie warning: If this is the first time you join us in planning an event, here's a few quick points:
  • I hate long, boring meetings. We have fun and we keep them short (as possible)
  • it might seem chaotic to you at first. Trust me, it's cool; just hang in there, the outcome is always great
  • anything you have to share is as important as anything anyone else has to say. We respect each other and we love hearing ideas from new people.
  • whoever shows up are the right people to run this event.
  • it will not work the same way without your contribution of talent. You're awesome, we know it, so show up and bring your a-game.
Thanks and please forward this out to anyone you feel could benefit from being a part of this or could benefit the team and the cause,
Jeff

ps, for everyone new and old: check out this TED video: Steven Johnson: Where good ideas come from
This guy does a great job of articulating one of the reasons why what we do (this crazy ad-hoc planning) works. So many brains in collusion give birth to some pretty amazing ideas.
