Hey folks could each of the location point people create a twtvite (www.twtvite.com) for your event? Thank you! It's pretty easy, but if you're not sure how, let me know.

You want them made with the @LItweetup ID rather than our own, correct? If you use the LITweetup ID, it'll be branded with LITweetup rather than our own avs and backgrounds.
FYI - Twtvite appears to be down at the moment. Blame me. I asked him to put back the option of embedding the twtvites into web pages rather than a button that leads you away from the site and to twtvite.com.

IMO, should be the other way around for branding. Didn't you pay for twtvite branding way back when?
The co-host's av shows up too so there's definitely a 'face' to the event.

There's also more personalizable (is that a word? lol) description section than before that allows some HTML now. The point person can jazz that up how they'd like but maybe come up with a blurb that should be on every one of them for informational purposes and uniformity? Links back to the site, previous events, etc. Just a thought.

How does this look?
Blurb for the More Details box - LITweetup was founded as a local social gathering of Long Island Twitter users. Tweetups are held on a regular basis all over Long Island and tweeted about using the hash tag, #LITweetup. During the events, LITweetup organizers collect non-perishable food items, supermarket gift cards, and cash funds to be donated to Island Harvest’s mission to end hunger on Long Island.
