Cannot Install on Mac Mini, OS X 10.7.4(Lion)-does not have java 5 or higher???

Hey Guys-

I cannot install Littleshoot on my Mac Mini(intel Core 2 Duo) with Lion. It tells me that I do not have Java 5 or higher. I ran Software Update and I am current. Went to the Oracle website and downloaded Java 7 again and installed, still no luck. Any ideas??

Hey Jim-

Actually, when you run the installer on the Mac Mini, there should be a "Window" menu at the top where you can select "Installer Log". That should bring up another window that allows you to select "Show All Logs" in the top left.

Can you possibly copy and paste whatever logs you find there on the list?

I'm having the exact same issue with the same specs (except I didn't install Java 7 - just have 6). Installer Log says this:

Sep  9 11:49:52 TV Installer[72052]: Installation checks failed.

Sep  9 11:49:53 TV Installer[72052]: Installation check failure.  Java 5 Required. We're sorry, but LittleShoot requires Java 5 or above to run.  You should be able to use Software Update  to install the latest version of Java from Apple.  You can find Software Update in the apple menu in the upper left corner of your screen.  We apologize for the inconvenience..

Thanks for the update -- I think it's an issue with the older PackageMaker (OSX installer) not being compatible with newer operating systems. We'll do our best to get a new build out shortly and will update the list when we do.

Nothing yet unfortunately, Matt -- haven't had a chance to fix it yet. Still hoping to get to it soon.
