Interesting -- thanks Benjamin. It seems like the organization
structure of SwarmPlayer is actually what's unique. BitTorrent Inc and
others have been doing this for years, but they all wanted significant
cash for the technology. LittleShoot's had it for some time too, but
it's just basically undocumented.

The interesting part to me is that it makes sense Wikipedia would
partner with a more like-minded organization like these guys. That's a
great foothold to other things though.

Anyone know anything about the terms of the deal? Is it completely
free?

Well... I tried it... it's basically a P2P Sharing system for Wikipedia Videos.  I don't know yet if it works on other sites.  You basically download a video and then it shares the directory with the rest of the Swarm.  I don't know yet if I trust it or not.  Such as ... does it have full access to the rest of my network.... I don't know.  I think it depends on MY settings.  I'll let you know more as I fiddle with it more.  ;-)
