Out of the blue, no downloads, no searching, nothing !
I downloaded 0.9991 just in case that was it but to no avail.
Im a mac user and have had no trouble for the past few months with it.
Anyone else had this problem ?
Cheers

A couple of people have reported issues along these lines, and we're
trying to diagnose the problem. What browser are you using? What
version of OSX? Are you using a PowerPC processor by any chance?

It's also possible you need to update the version of Java on your
computer using Software Update, as LittleShoot 0.9991 requires Java
1.6.

Thanks very much.

Alright -- I think we figured it out. It was actually an issue with
the web site itself. It should work for now. Does it?

Thanks for the report.

It might be because the site is cached in the browser. Can you try
clearing your browser cache and reloading www.littleshoot.org?

What OS and browser are you using, Marc?

Thanks.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all your help, but still no luck with the site. OSX is
10.6.5 and I use Safari, this hasn't
been a problem in the past though.
All my software is up to date also.

Best

Very strange. Did you try emptying the cache in Safari by going to the
Safari menu (top left) and selecting "Empty Cache..."? Once you've
done that, if close and re-open Safari and then go to www.littleshoot.org,
it should work. We've been running it in Safari with OSX 10.6.5 quite
a lot with no issues.

All the Best,

Ahhh -- You need Java 6 for the new version. Have grabbed that from
Software Update?

Interesting you encountered this - ill look into backporting code to Java 1.5. I'll also look into reducing the spam in 0.9991.

Thanks Sull!

> Adam ,

My biggest complaint with L.S. is that I have never attained any kind of good download speed.

My connection is 35 MBps downstream and 5 MBps upstream.

From sites with big pipes like Apple I download at 1 to 3 MB/ sec.

Please resend the link to the latest version.

My newest idea is to try running it in a Ram Disk.
