plans for chef 11.x branch?

I have littlechef running with Chef 11.x now, the chef-solo local support of environments is useful, there are larger changes to chef-solo search lib that are required, and I deploy with an 11.x gem so it would be good to keep the two separate for now. Apart from making sure metadata is up to date with dependent cookbooks chef 11 seems ok.

So what would you advise to do? Maintain a LittleChef "Chef11" branch?
(or the opossite, a "Chef10" branch). Do you have code to make things
work on Chef 11?

Apologies for the delaying in replying, I hadn't figured out how to subscribe to this thread. I would suggest a littlechef 11 branch, I have the changes, I've just created an account in github too

FYI: master has Chef 11 support now, including environments. Will be in the 1.6 release.

Very nice, I'll give it try. The problem I had was trying to keep a clean clone of your master to push, that and there wasn't an ubuntu 11 chef so I built my own, we have a number of additions that may be easier to diff out/share now. nodes_with_roles, recipes that we use with our amazon sites
