The Gondoliers is a light opera by the renowned British team Gilbert and Sullivan. The story follows the hilarious exploits of two Venetian Gondoliers who are informed on their wedding day that one of them is the long-lost king of Barataria... but no one knows which! Complications arise when the daughter of the Duke of Plaza Toro in Spain, wed to the Prince in infancy, comes to claim her husband's hand-- and finds that both the men who could be the king are already married.
