Guys,

One of the dads has simplified the build process for the Pinewood Derby by enlisting Home Depot. Below and attached are some information on the prices and dates. I could make the 30th if anyone's interested in getting a group out that day. We're a big tribe, so it might make sense to get a few cars built for the event.

Let me know if you want to schedule a slot with the Depot for the 30th.

We should circulate this around and get some dads together to build a car or two for the tribe. I am going to do with guides tribe as well. They do a really nice job with the event and fantastic run on the border of GE and Wheaton.

Home Depot and Kiowa have made a car kit and will be assembled at the Home Depot in Carol Stream

Home Depot will cut the wood and the Dads will drill holes and assemble with there help.

The cost is $55 dollars, all materials needed wood, wheels etc...A check payable to Home Depot should be given during the build

A separate belt purchase of $15 A check payable to Mike Smith should be given during the build

The build takes @ 2.5 hours
