Princess Camp Out this weekend

Guys,

Not the weather we had hoped for.  I have put together the attached based on some still going tonight. I have Sophie this year so not going to go tonight if raining but will go up early in the morning.  Dave and Tood, did not have info for you but currently have you penciled in for Saturday lunch arrival.  I am going to make a call around 3:00 today on whether we are going today or tomorrow.  For the rest going tonight, what are thoughts for you? Once we have all input, we can coordinate meals.  Thought we would have the 3 new guys (McKay, Esposito and Heintz) observe for this one and get their feet wet.

We are watching the weather, and if it isn't too bad will still go up tonight.  If it is a steady rain, will wait until tomorrow early morning.

As for tonight, let’s play it by ear and wing it for meals.  Plan that we will all eat on the way up and then we can coordinate to bring a few burgers, snacks, etc. for those that make it.  Let’s plan the same for breakfast.  Those that are there we can either drive into town for breakfast or grab cereal / light breakfast at camp store.  We will plan full meal for Saturday lunch and dinner.  I vote we do a meal Sunday but keep it easy – cereal, juice, donuts, etc. but could be persuaded otherwise.

We're still looking to go down tonight.  I'd rather set up tent tonight before it rains.  I vote everyone on their own tonight, then head into town for pancakes and Albanian sausage in the morning, then head to the grocery store for lunch/dinner.

Sorry, didn't mean to oversimplify.  I think the answer is we are going to collectively plan and buy food for Saturday lunch and dinner (and light breakfast on Sunday) once we get there, rather than have dads sign up for individual meal planning and buying.

I already got a bunch of paper and plastic goods (plates, cups, bowls, utensils, garbage bags, etc), as well as some chips, snacks and 8 brats/ buns, as I wasn't sure what the plan was.   We can take stock of what we have before we head to the store, in case others bought anything in advance as well.
