Commingled materials (glass, plastic, tin cans and aluminum) are picked up on alternate Wednesdays. Recycling cans are available at the DPW yard on Sindle Avenue. Recycling office hours are 9 am to 3:30 pm weekdays. For more information, please contact the Department of Public Works at (973) 256-6815. Please remember to secure recyclable items and keep Little Falls beautiful. Please also be aware that plastic bags are no longer permitted to be used in recycling. Commingled items include aluminum cans, glass containers (no window glass), tin and bi-metal cans, and plastics (#1, 2, 5 ONLY). Recycling must be out by 6 A.M. (No Later). Containers with contents must weigh no more than 40 lbs. (Good rule of thumb, if you can pick up the container three feet off the ground, then it should be ok).
