Little Falls Town Council Agenda - 3/23/26

Medicaid. Schools. Disability funding. Don't let Congress decide without you. 

 

On March 24, we're delivering constituent messages straight to Capitol Hill.

 

Congress is making decisions about Medicaid, education, and programs that help people live in their communities. These decisions could affect millions of children and adults with disabilities.

 

Congress needs to hear from you before those decisions are made, and we've made it easy. We have a letter ready to go, and you can personalize it if you'd like. Take 30 seconds and send your message today. 

 

We need Congress to:

  • Enforce disability education and civil rights laws by ending harmful restraint and seclusion practices.

  • Fully fund all parts of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Developmental Disabilities Act programs.

  • Ensure all voucher-funded schools comply with the IDEA, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • Make home and community-based services a mandatory Medicaid benefit.

  • Extend the enhanced Affordable Care Act tax credits.

  • Protect access to health care by supporting the Protecting Health Care and Lowering Costs Act of 2025.
